Shantui exported two SD32W 239kW bulldozers to a customer in Serbia that had, only last year, purchased three of the same machines.

The previously bought bulldozers had been operated for 20 hours a day and surpassed 1,000 working hours without fault.

The five purchased SD32Ws are 1171 Shantui’s first bulldozers exported with a self-lubricating trackshoe system. The demands of the European market has required Shantui to develop a new approach to its products, such as integrating a Tier 4/Euro Stage IIIB compliant 196 Cummins engine, as well as a redesigned ergonomic operator cab. These upgraded products have already begun to gain traction in several markets, with the new SD16CE and hydrostatic drive SD08YE, SD10YE, and SD10YS models achieving sales in regions such as the Baltic States and several EU countries.

With many more open-pit coal mines across the former Yugoslav republics, the SD32W is promising to be a stable seller in the coming years, partly because of the region’s ageing bulldozer fleets.

Shantui, not only the world’s largest maker and seller of brand name dozers, also offers other construction plant as well as road and public utility vehicles and cement handling machinery - from wheeled loaders and road rollers to truck cranes and motor graders, to forklifts and excavators.

The Company is publicly listed on the Shanghai-Shenzhen 300 Index, and is headquartered in Jining, Shandong Province.
