4870 Selwood’s new H range of high head pumps for the quarrying and mining sectors were on show at the recent 3579 PLANTWORX 2013 show near Coventry, central England.

Launched at the show, the Selwood H200 is a heavy duty, automatic self-priming pump than can achieve capacity of up to 950m³/hr. It has an 85m delivery head and is capable of handling up to 60mm solids.

Like fellow H range models the H80, H100, H125, and H150, the H200 is fitted with mechanical shaft sealing for leak-free operation.

While the H200 is the most recently launched model, Selwood general manager Tony Killick believes the H150 – with a capacity of up to 450m³/hr, a delivery head of 95m and capable of handling up to 38mm solids – is likely to be the H range’s biggest selling model.

“It’s purely based on usage and enquiries,” said Killick. “It’s good for the UK market in the quarrying sector and we’re shipping a lot of these [H150] to Australasia: Indonesia and Australia. Canada has also had some of the H150 body units.”
