When the job is high up, then Schäffer’s new 5650 Z wheel loader with a bucket capacity of 0.8m3 and a working weight of 4.5tonne is up for the challenge.

The 5650 Z has a powerful 37kW 1265 Kubota engine with four-valve technology and is the first such machine to feature electric drive control which permits significant increases in efficiency. Electronic support helps to optimise engine output and transform it into thrust, which results in reduced fuel consumption.

The electronic control furthermore enables several new safety functions, such as overheat protection.

With a volume of 64 litres/min, the hydraulic pump transports enough oil to reliably supply power-demanding attachment tools such as pruning saws and mulchers. Good visuals to the attachment tool is guaranteed thanks to the elevated cab and the narrow front section. Also, if you change to Schäffer loaders, it will be no problem to keep and use your existing tools.

The high efficiency of the drive system makes exhaust cleaning a lot easier. A diesel oxidation catalyst is sufficient to meet the exhaust norm IIIb, which dispenses with need for the high maintenance particle filter.

Maximum lifting height of the 5650 Z is 3.4m. At up to 2.5tonne, the tipping load is likewise very high. Applications of the 5650 Z can be expanded significantly by an optional registration as tractor unit with towing capacity of up to 6tonne and the optional overdrive up to 30kph.
