SANY introduces articulated dumptruck at bauma China

SANY has lifted the covers on its new articulated dumptruck, the SAT40, at bauma China 2014. Featuring a 24m3 capacity dumpbody with exhaust heating, the SAT40 has a payload of 39.5tonnes. Power comes from a Mercedes Benz diesel rated at 350kW and which meets the Tier 3 emissions requirements. The engine drives all six wheels through a ZF transmission with eight forward speeds and four ratios for reverse. SANY unveils new ADT at bauma China
1170 SANY has lifted the covers on its new articulated dumptruck, the SAT40, at bauma China 2014. Featuring a 24m3 capacity dumpbody with exhaust heating, the SAT40 has a payload of 39.5tonnes. Power comes from a Mercedes Benz diesel rated at 350kW and which meets the Tier 3 emissions requirements. The engine drives all six wheels through a 2304 ZF transmission with eight forward speeds and four ratios for reverse. Wet plate disc brakes are fitted on all six wheels, with separate hydraulic circuits for the front brakes and rear axles. The cab is said to feature good all round visibility and plenty of room for the operator, as well as ensuring low operating noise. The machine launch comes at a time when customer interest in ADTs is increasing in China.
