Sandvik’s productive new crusher offers increased throughput
325 Sandvik is boosting its array of technologies for the quarrying sector with new crushers, screens, breakers, drilling rigs and drilling tools. The CH550 stationary crusher is said to offer increased throughput and reduced downtime, for greater overall efficiency and a better cost/tonne. New developments in wear components technology allows greater intervals between scheduled maintenance work, while smart technology allows continuous performance monitoring.

The QA451 mobile crushers and screens are said to provide versatility as well as high throughput, with designs that are also claimed to be easy to transport and fast to set up onsite.

Low downtime and maximum productivity are claimed for the new 777 breakers, which are said to be more robust than previous units.

The new DC125R drilling rig is said to offer a combination of good hole straightness and productivity, in a versatile and mobile package.

The improved RH series hammers offer longer wear life and improved reliability, as well as more efficient operation.

These new solutions-based products are also being offered with the firm’s total solutions packages, which provide greater support for customers according to the firm. Key expertise within this offering are said to include aftermarket care, construction excellence and global coverage.

“The customer focused approach will see us (Sandvik Construction) unveil some new, and exciting, products and services aimed at enabling customers to enhance their profitability, improve efficiency, and minimise environmental damage.”  Says Satu Ramo, Global Marketing Communications Manager, Sandvik Construction.
