Roo’d awakening

In Australia an assertive kangaroo refused to budge from a Brisbane driveway, leaving a mother and her young child trapped in their car. The large kangaroo stood at the end of the driveway and only moved at last after the woman had repeatedly sounded her car horn. The animal was later moved to a rather less suburban location by the RSPCA.

    Police officers in the UK stopped a motorist recently when they spotted her driving with a rather unusual alternative to a safety belt. The woman was peering from between the legs of a high chair, which she had somehow managed to squeeze into the front of her car. The officers felt that this was unsafe as it obscured her view and stopped her accordingly. Why she did not opt to put the high chair in the boot (trunk) of her car is not known.

The woman, clad in her wedding dress, was found by police lying unconscious in the rear seat of a BMW car with only a crate of vodka for companionship. Police were called to help when the woman was spotted in the vehicle as temperatures began to climb during the day and there were concerns over her well-being.
