New UML/S/EX mulcher

Land clearing and construction attachment manufacturer 8067 FAE, has added to its UML range of excavator-mounted forestry mulchers and introduced eight rock cutters to its construction line-up at this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG show in Las Vegas.

The UML/S/EX forestry mulcher is designed for excavators in the 20-25 tonne class and fills a hole in the company’s line-up. Available in 1,346mm and 1,75mm operating widths, the two attachments can handle maximum tree diameters of 300mm.

FAE’s RC range of rock cutters is a new departure for the attachment firm’s construction division. There are eight models on offer, from the RC25 - which is suitable for excavators of 2.5 tonnes operating weight - to the RC320 which is suitable for excavators from 45-70 tonnes. Working widths range from 558mm to 1,245mm and the cutters use direct drive piston motors with automatic lubrication systems that require no daily maintenance.
