In Germany a row between father and son resulted in the father stopping and leaving his teenage son by the roadside. The man had collected his teenage son from a summer camp but following the row, drove off leaving his son with just €5 to pay for the 300km journey home.

In Germany a row between father and son resulted in the father stopping and leaving his teenage son by the roadside. The man had collected his teenage son from a summer camp but following the row, drove off leaving his son with just €5 to pay for the 300km journey home. Police took the boy to a police station and called the father, who eventually agreed to return for his son.

    Police in China have had to tackle a bizarre threat from over 100 fake monks, who had earlier attacked a toll booth and then fled on a double decker bus. Following the incident, police gave chase and managed to stop the bus using a road block. A fight ensued with the fake monks using metal bars and knives to attack the police. While 31 of the monks were arrested at the road block, the others then managed to escape the police in the bus.

    Police in Sweden had to deal with a rather tricky individual recently who was attempting to hibernate in his car. The man had been found a few hours earlier by two snowmobile drivers.     In Texas a police officer took affirmative action to tackle a drugged driver dangerously speeding the wrong way up a major highway. The officer spotted the errant vehicle heading the wrong way and drove his police cruiser deliberately into the path of the car, to safeguard other road users.
