The Rhyno from Simem: fast and efficient
2595 Simem’s new Rhyno mixer is taking the market head-on with its twin-shaft performance.

The Rhyno is about 7% more efficient in power consumption thanks to its direct-drive motor and gears, said Christopher Bennett, commercial director for UK-based HS Services, appointed by Simem as UK & Ireland dealer and installer for batching plant and mixers.

The Rhyno, from the Italian independent family business Simem, is making its debut at bauma and is taking over from the company’s MSO mixer. It incorporates Simem’s “flower paddle” design to ensure improved mixing capabilities, such as increased dispersion of cement.

Output is suitable for standard WET and SCC concrete, RCC concrete and MCC concrete and has a highly efficient auto washing system, said Bennett.

The Rhyno comes in sizes from 1m3 capacity compacted output up to 9m3.

High output and versatility are claimed for Liebherr’s latest Mobilmix concrete plant. The largest model in the range is equipped with a 4m³ twin-shaft mixer, delivering high production rates.

The plant features modular construction, which allows the user to suit plant configuration to the application and site dimensions. Because the components are modular, this also optimizes transport, reducing delivery times and assembly and commissioning. The modular design also ensures high parts availability.
