Radial dump truck tyre joins Yokohama line-up

Yokohama has added a radial E-4 rigid truck tyre to its range. The RB42 E-4 features a zigzag groove pattern with large centre blocks to resist cuts and to improve overall wear rates. A rock flush external pattern ejects rocks to prevent damage and promote longer operating life.

Yokohama has added a radial E-4 rigid truck tyre to its range. The RB42 E-4 features a zigzag groove pattern with large centre blocks to resist cuts and to improve overall wear rates. A rock flush external pattern ejects rocks to prevent damage and promote longer operating life. The RB42 E-4 tyre is available in 18.00R33, 24.00R35 and 27.00R49 sizes for use with rigid quarry haulers.

The advantage of the steel base with lightweight walls means that it can be used continuously for more than 10 years, while an aluminium trough would need repairs every two to three years.
