The first site dumper units featuring 771 Terex Construction’s new Powershift transmission have rolled off the production line at its manufacturing facility in Coventry, UK.

The 2016 TA9P models, also featuring Stop-Start engine control and Autoshift technology, will soon be added to GAP Group’s national equipment fleet.

Available on all models across the Terex TA9 and TA10 site dumper portfolios, Powershift transmission allows smooth, efficient gear changes, helping operators to select the correct gear for the required application regardless of terrain conditions.

Available with either a manual or optional automatic shift gearbox, the technology helps to improve productivity and ensures simpler operation. With the option to partner with Stop-Start engine control, the update improves site dumper productivity and reduces maintenance requirements.

It also features T4-F engine technology to meet the highest international emissions standards.
