A Polish truck driving instructor has lost his job after he was recorded giving questionable advice to trainees. During one lesson the instructor suggested to the learner that should the truck's progress be impeded by a car, the easiest option would be to ram the offending vehicle out of the way. The instructor was filmed in secret by one of his trainees who felt reason to doubt the quality of the training being given.

    A driver reacted with fury following a fine in Finland for a speeding offence. The millionaire was hit with a fine of €54,000 (around £40,000) for driving at 22.4km/h (14mph) over the posted speed limit of 80km/h (50mph).     Police in Poland managed to stop a 29-year-old male driver after a 30km high speed pursuit. The BMW driver hit speeds as high as 260km/h (162.5mph) in his bid to elude his pursuers.
