Pimp my buggy

In the US state of Utah, police found that their vehicles have proven unequal to the task of pursuing a golf buggy. When police spotted the golf buggy burning doughnuts in a park they followed in hot pursuit but were unable to continue the chase when the buggy drove into a field and crossed some irrigation ditches. Police were later able to apprehend the suspect at his grandmother's house and commented that the buggy had been modified, with an engine replacing the somewhat less powerful electric motor fitte

When police spotted the golf buggy burning doughnuts in a park they followed in hot pursuit but were unable to continue the chase when the buggy drove into a field and crossed some irrigation ditches. Police were later able to apprehend the suspect at his grandmother's house and commented that the buggy had been modified, with an engine replacing the somewhat less powerful electric motor fitted originally.

Keen to help, the Range Rover owner drove his 4WD onto the beach and attempted to tow the van free.

One driver of a Land Rover put his faith in his GPS and unquestioningly followed its directions, using a stretch of sand as a short cut. However his journey turned out to be somewhat delayed when the car became stuck in the sand and the tide came in, leaving the Land Rover awash.
