Overloading excess

A school teacher in Wales was recently stopped by police for overloading his Volvo estate (station wagon). Police were astounded to see that 13 people had been crammed into the car, including adults and children. The driver was fined for the offence.

Police were alerted by a CCTV operator who saw the rider as he rode past a camera. Officers quickly responded and escorted the cyclist to a place of safety after providing a few words on safety. On the first occasion the boy waited until his parents were sleeping and then sneaked out of his room and drove off in the family car in a bid to visit his grandparents, some 60km away. Worse still, he took his 18 month old sister along for the ride.

    In the US city of Miami a car dealer proved very accommodating to a paraplegic man who dropped into the showroom to check out the various models on display. The dealer had already sold a number of cars to paraplegic clients and thought nothing of letting this man sit in one of the vehicles.
