A novel drainage solution called the RAUSIKKO high load box system has been developed by REHAU.

This system allows rainater to drain away to a separate spot rather into the localised area. The system can be used in applications with space constraints and suits duties in the parking areas and access roads around buildings. The system can be covered over with a road surface and then is strong enough to handle the passage of heavy vehicles.

The idea of the system is to prevent flooding close to buildings and allowing the water to be carried away elsewhere to a point where it can be disposed of without problems. The units can be laid in a trench, lined with a geomembrane and even in the event of heavy rainfall, will allow the water to be contained and channelled safely away.
