Yanmar’s productive compact loaders are productive and tough
7139 Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe is offering a new range of compact wheel loaders. High output and productivity are claimed, along with low maintenance needs and running costs, Durable and tough, the machines are said use by rental fleets. Power comes from Yanmar engines that are said to deliver good torque curves along with low fuel consumption and minimal emissions.
LiuGong is widening its wheeled loader line-up with the addition of the compact 816III model. Despite its small size the 5.6tonne 816III is said to have a high power to weight ratio, has a bucket breakout force of 5.45tonnes and features a 0.785m3 bucket as standard. Power comes from a Yanmar diesel rated at 48kW and which meets Tier 3 noise and emission regulations.

A major focus for diesel engine suppliers is for the development of low emission technologies. Tough regulations are in force in North America and Europe with regard to emissions, a programme introduced to help reduce pollution from off-highway machines. These technologies are also being introduced in stages in other territories, with China now rolling out tougher regulations.
