The firm said that it is having major success in reaching local machinery manufacturers in an array of countries and is building market share. The company offers a range of steels for different applications and specialises in thin plates, offering high tolerances on its plate thicknesses in comparison with its competitors. Niche markets where the company has developed a strong base include abrasion resistant steels, with a number of major manufacturers using the NLMK product for applications such as dump truck bodies due to the long wear life. The structural steels are used by a number of the leading crane manufacturers for applications such as booms due to the high strength performance.
