New HC28 drifter joins the Montabert family

Montabert is to introduce a new hydraulic drifter, the HC28, which has a 10kW output, and which is the company’s latest model. Montabert’s HC28 hydraulic drifter, the company’s latest model

2396 Montabert is to introduce a new hydraulic drifter, the HC28, which has a 10kW output, and which is the company’s latest model.

The company, which says it introduced the hydraulic rock drill in 1970, points to the HC28’s compact and robust design, which allows the HC28 to drill holes from 32-64mm for surface or underground jobs, and for standard drilling or anchoring.

Montabert says that the HC28 has been designed to be quickly and easily mounted on any type of carrier, without having to perform heavy adaptations or special fittings on the machine.

Maintenance operations have also been set to be simple and ergonomic to minimise downtime and costs, while by transmitting energy in an optimal way, rods, bits and shanks lifespans are said to be maximised. Because the HC28 front guide is much less stressed, mainly regarding temperature increases, the HC28 has low lubricant consumptions.

Several aspects factor into choosing the proper concrete dowel drill - Randy Stevens. The concrete paving industry has seen significant changes to dowel drilling equipment over the years. Many years ago only hand-held models existed and when the first hydraulic drills were launched over 30 years ago, these increased production and reduced labour needs. Since that time pneumatic drills, have come to market and these are driven by air compressors, which are common on many worksites while the units also have l

Develon has launched the DX235RTF-7 tunnelling excavator, an extension to the company’s line-up of special application machines.

The DX235RTF-7 is based on Develon’s well-established DX235LCR-7 reduced radius crawler excavator and is powered by a DL06V Stage V engine, providing 141kW of power. The DX235RTF-7 uses the successful compact design and minimum swing radius of the DX235LCR-7. However, the key part of the machine is the heavy duty tunnelling front, offering a new arm and boom design with special kinematics and a tilting function.
