Wacker Neuson has added new excavators and dumpers to its product line.
The DW10 dumper has a payload of 1tonne and the DW15 dumper has a payload of 1.5tonnes and both are said to offer good performance on tough terrain coupled with versatility.

The Wacker Neuson DV60 offers an innovative skip exchange system. The quick and easy replacement of the skip expands the range of applications and the utilisation of the machine.

For its zero emission product portfolio, Wacker Neuson is offering two new electric excavators: the EZ10e with a one tonne payload and the EZ26e with a 2.6 tonne payload.

Both mini-excavators are zero-tail models designed without rear overhang, making them suited for confined construction sites or indoors.

Wacker Neuson excavators have a wide range of attachments available. One example is the EW100 wheeled excavator, which is factory-fitted with the MiC 4.0 interface. The EW100 comes equipped with factory-installed automatic attachment recognition for MiC 4.0-compatible attachments. This system also automatically adjusts essential settings such as hydraulic pressure and flow rate. The operator can select other attachments individually on the display. The aim of MiC 4.0 is to become the standard for communication between attachments and construction machines.

Iceland, being a volcanic island and still active, must import aggregates and bitumen for road construction. The island’s 104,000km² and its 333,000 inhabitants are susceptible to daily seismic activity of some kind. However, airline passengers, either visiting the country as tourist or in transit, are increasing by around 20% per year so good airport services are essential. As such, Colas is resurfacing the main runway and constructing a third strip and contracting other road works. The highway network i
