A need for speed

A Welsh teenager has taken a rather lower cost route to becoming a racing driver than is usual. The lad was a keen kart racer from a young age and showed ability but was not deterred when the local kart track closed down. Instead he continued to hone his skills by playing videogames, nally winning the European round of a gaming competition run jointly by Sony and Nissan to see if gamers could become proper racing drivers. A Welsh teenager has taken a  rather lower cost route to  becoming a racing driver than is  usual. The lad was a keen kart racer  from a young age and showed  ability but was not deterred when  the local kart track closed down.  Instead he continued to hone his  skills by playing videogames, nally  winning the European round of a  gaming competition run jointly by  2546 Sony and 2454 Nissan to see if gamers  could become proper racing  drivers. After completing intensive  driver training, he then went on to  come third in his category in a 24  hour endurance car racing event in  Dubai.

    A rider amongst a group of cyclists on a training run in Australia had a rather unpleasant experience. The man was cycling along a road with his team mates when a young kangaroo jumped out from the road side and collided with him, knocking him from his bicycle. Although he was riding at speed at the time, he was not seriously hurt and as one of his team mates filmed the incident, will have video footage to better remember the incident by.
