The driver of a motorhome in the UK now has reason to be more careful when following directions from his satnav system. The driver was following directions in the town of St Ives in Cornwall, which has many narrow streets that long predate the introduction of motor vehicles. As the street became narrower and narrower, the motorhome driver quickly realised his vehicle simply could not be driven any further forward. Several locals stood and watched the proceedings, some of whom were so amused as to burst out laughing, which cannot have helped the driver.
