Montabert to introduce new V6000 and V7000 heavy rock breakers

Montabert is introducing two new heavy hydraulic rock breakers, the V6000 and the V7000, weighting 6tonnes and 7tonnes respectively. Montabert’s new V7000 heavy rock breaker in action

2396 Montabert is introducing two new heavy hydraulic rock breakers, the V6000 and the V7000, weighting 6tonnes and 7tonnes respectively.

The company says this will complete its range to equip up to 120tonne carriers, and it has filed for three patents for the breakers.

The first relates to the hydraulic cushion and piston centering, and the two others are linked to the new variable energy adjustment system. Like many other Montabert breakers, the V6000 and the V7000 can adapt their striking energy to the hardness of the rock.

Other new technologies in the design of the breakers include the dual lubrication circuit.

Montabert says the breakers have been specifically engineered to provide ergonomics and safety for the operator and the people working close to them, while noise levels have also been reduced to their minimum levels using a fully soundproofed housing.
