The new RC package from Bid-Well is said to help boost safety and quality

The firm says that this is a powerful, lightweight and ergonomic backpack unit. The new backpack is a 9.3kg vibrator unit designed to maximise operator comfort, mobility and productivity during concrete consolidation.

Driven by a Honda motor for reliable performance, the backpack is equipped with new features, including a removable throttle assembly. This allows operators to relocate the throttle for easy operation. All core/casings and vibrator heads are interchangeable between all Minnich gas-powered and electric flex shaft units with the true universal quick disconnect system, giving contractors equipment flexibility.

Also new is Minnich’s Auto Vibe CC vibrator monitoring system, designed to simplify hydraulic paving vibrator monitoring during heavy highway and airport paving processes. A high-visibility, all-weather touchscreen monitor offers easy navigation. All electrical connections feature Deutsch harness connectors for easy connections and service. The paving vibrator system is easy to install and features remote access to Minnich Manufacturing for field support.

Versatility and productivity are key drivers for the concrete plant sector - Mike Woof writes. The days of most construction machines being expressly designed and built for a single specific purpose have gone. These days construction equipment is largely intended to be versatile and adaptable, allowing it to be operated in a wide array of applications and duties. New concrete plants are designed too for mobility as this allows users to set up highly productive equipment quickly on basic sites, with little p
