Wacker Neuson introduces new mini excavators
1651 Wacker Neuson is adding to its mini excavator range, with the zero tailswing EZ80 and EZ53. These 8tonne and 5.3tonne models are among the most powerful in their classes. The smaller EZ53 has a tilting cab for ease of maintenance while the heavier EZ80 features air conditioning and seat heating among the standard specification.
The company has also been developing a line of zero emission machines that includes a site dumper, wheeled loader, mini tracked dumper and the 803 dual power electric mini excavator.
Wacker Neuson has added new excavators and dumpers to its product line. The DW10 dumper has a payload of 1tonne and the DW15 dumper has a payload of 1.5tonnes and both are said to offer good performance on tough terrain coupled with versatility.
The Wacker Neuson DV60 offers an innovative skip exchange system. The quick and easy replacement of the skip expands the range of applications and the utilisation of the machine.
Wacker Neuson is launching a 1.7tonne battery-powered EZ17e excavator into the North American market. The zero-emission excavator has been a success in the European market and will launch in North America in late 2023 or early 2024, said Gert Reichetseder, president and CEO, Wacker Neuson Americas.
Wacker Neuson has ambitious plans to continue its double-digit growth which has seen its group sales figures increase from €758m in 2010 to €1,284m in 2014. New product development will be crucial to continued growth, Dieter Freisler, Wacker Neuson Europe’s regional president told a press conference at Intermat 2015, with a focus on developing lower-emission products.
