The machine is designed to work in tandem with Metso’s well-proven LT106 Lokotrack, a mobile jaw crusher. Another key development being shown by the firm at Conexpo is the HP3 cone crusher, which is said to offer an array of benefits in comparison with earlier generation machines on the market. High throughput and efficiency are claimed, along with low energy consumption and increased versatility and the firm says that in some applications, this unit can be used to replace two earlier generation machines and with a major benefit in terms of reducing operating costs. The company says that its Metso Quarry Supply Solutions service now offers customers a one-stop shop for all quarry supply needs. This combines delivery, installation and consulting and a full range of consumable products. These include crusher wearparts, lining solutions, synthetic and wire screen media, as well as a wide array of conveyor components, accessories and belts. In addition, the firm is introducing its novel Lokotrack ST2.8 mobile screen, which is said to set a new standard for mobile scalping units. The ST2.8 is said to be ideal for recycling and multi-stage crushing applications, offering improved material separation with more precision and reduced fuel consumption.
