MB demolishes the opposition

MB’s new demolition pulverisers – the MB-P and MB-PT demolition series - are the result of years of in-house development, extreme on-site testing and listening to the real needs of those on the ground. The result is a comprehensive range for every job - primary demolition, secondary demolition, material downsizing and metal cutting.

There are two product lines. The MB-P Series is for compact machines: MB-P160 and the P380 (optional secondary demolition kit). Meanwhile, the MB-PT Series is for heavy-duty work: MB-PT650, PT1150 and PT1650.

All models come with a 24-month warranty, are designed for lifting hooks and are compatible with multiple working kits.

Each demolition pulveriser is built with continuous hydraulic rotation. That means you can position it precisely without having to reposition the machine itself. The system can also support a dual-motor setup for extra rotational power when needed.

The angled mounting plate – available on all but the smallest model – increases reach, allowing work close to the tracks or in tight spaces.

An optional electric rotation kit is available, allowing use even with single-line machines.

The MB-PT series can be fitted with three different jaw kits: primary crushing for reinforced concrete structures, secondary crushing to reduce pre-broken material and shear kit for cutting steel and metal. Also, swapping kits is quick and easy - done directly on site with zero downtime.

Built to last

The entire structure of the demolition pulverisers - body and jaws alike - is made from Hardox 450, one of the toughest wear-resistant steels available. The optimised kinematics ensure maximum crushing force with every grip. Cylinders are shielded to keep working even in the harshest conditions. The robust slewing ring and dual - or four-line hydraulic systems - ensure reliable performance under pressure.

Every component is designed for fast, easy replacement:
• Interchangeable cutting edges and teeth – replaceable on site
• Reversible, interchangeable blades – four cutting edges for longer life
• Centralised lubrication – quicker, simpler upkeep
• Optimised geometry – for rapid jaw opening and closing

Paired with MB crushing buckets, the pulverisers allow you to reduce debris volume, sort inert materials for immediate recycling and create new, reusable material on the spot.

In short, you turn waste into a resource—saving time, transport, and disposal costs.

One demolition pulveriser, countless applications.

Demolition is a highly specialised business, as the machinery required to carry out the work on high-rise demolition contracts can be very site specific. Today's high reach demolition rig is no longer simply a tracked excavator with a long boom, indeed some machines cannot be used as excavators at all. Likewise a machine that is dedicated to carrying a 2.5 or 3tonne shear or hammer will need to be built to take the stresses and strains of demolition life.
