Manitou has extended its MRT Easy range of rotating telehandlers with the MRT2145.
Sitting above the existing MRT1840 with its 18m, 4tonne lift, the new MRT2145 offers a maximum lift height of 21m, and a 4.5tonne lift capacity. The stabiliser design is a two-piece hinged construction. As the inner part of the leg is lowered hydraulically, a cable and spring mechanism is used to move the outer part into its working position. This extends the MRT2145’s footprint by 80cm in total – 40cm on each side of the machine – enhancing overall stability.
Manitou said the MRT2145 also gets a new design of boom that sees hose and cable routing inside the boom for greater protection and durability. Power for the machine comes from a 75kW Perkins engine, meeting EU Stage IIIB emissions regulations.
