In Australia a would-be car thief was caught by police when he locked himself in the vehicle he was trying to steal. The police responded to a call regarding an attempted car theft in Adelaide and found a 53 year old man trapped inside the vehicle. A second would-be thief was found hiding in nearby bushes.

    A cyclist was recently spotted on the UK’s busy M25 motorway pedalling along the hard shoulder in the wrong direction. Police were alerted by a CCTV operator who saw the rider as he rode past a camera. Officers quickly responded and escorted the cyclist to a place of safety after providing a few words on safety.     Two thieves in the UK robbed a property, taking the keys to the owner’s Porsche sportscar and then driving off with it as well as a TV, a wallet and other assorted items. The driver called his friends on the phone as he drove away, boasting about having stolen the high-performance car, revving the engine for emphasis. The driver quickly found out however that having consumed alcohol, he was not in full control of a vehicle that was also rather more powerful than any he had driven before.

On the first occasion the boy waited until his parents were sleeping and then sneaked out of his room and drove off in the family car in a bid to visit his grandparents, some 60km away.
