LiuGong’s 856H wheeled loader showcased for first time in Europe

LiuGong’s 856H wheeled loader with “new LiuGong DNA” is being showcased at INTERMAT 2015 for the first time in Europe in Tier 4 Final/Stage IV configuration. “The H-Series [wheeled loaders] has been completely designed to work efficiently, and to be easy to service and maintain,” said David Beatenbough, LiuGong’s vice president. “This is the first machine to display our new LiuGong DNA. Over the coming months and years you’ll see machines with the same visual cues as the 856H.”

LiuGong is showcasing its new 856H wheeled loader for the first time in Europe

269 LiuGong’s 856H wheeled loader with “new LiuGong DNA” is being showcased at INTERMAT 2015 for the first time in Europe in Tier 4 Final/Stage IV configuration.

Powered by a 196 Cummins QSB6.7 diesel equipped with proven variable geometry turbocharger technology to optimise torque, the 856H wheeled loader has a high pressure common rail fuel injection system, which also optimises fuel consumption. The engine powers the machine through a ZF driveline system, and the 856H also features a ZF AP3000 axle. The axle housing and main transmission system are reinforced to increase strength and the machine’s carrying capacity has been increased by 40% from the previous model. The ZF 4WG200 transmission is said to work to achieve optimal output. An automatic shift transmission with kick down function and electric proportional FNR lever make operating more convenient.

Of the 856H wheeled loader’s new eight-sided cab design, Beatenbough said: “This increases the visibility in the rear corners, contributing to the good visibility all the way round the machine. Inside, the cab is wider offering more space. It’s now one of the widest cabs in the industry.”

Beatenbough also stressed the easy maintenance of the 856H. The forward tilting engine hood is equipped with an electric lifting device and allows for ground level access to service points to increase accessibility to components. The hydraulic driving fan motor can be reversed for cleaning, and the water and oil drains are placed together to speed up maintenance and service tasks.
