To meet tough emissions legislation for Europe and North America, JCB is offering a brace of new machines powered by its latest diesel, the new Ecomax engine. JCB’s backhoe loaders, telehandlers and smaller JS excavators will be the first machines fitted with the new Ecomax engine. However this will also be installed into various models in the line-up including those in the wheeled loader, skid steer loader and rough terrain forklift ranges.
Compaction specialist Hamm has launched a 10 tonne H series soil compactor and updated its 12 and 14 tonne models with new engines and operating systems. The H10i compactor is powered by an 85kW diesel engine and can be specified with smooth or padfoot drums. All H series machines come with three-point pivot articulation, to maximise drive on rough ground and feature the company’s Easy Drive operating concept, with ergonomic work stations and improved visibility.
London, England-based J. Ffrench Plant Hire has recently signed a deal for one of the largest orders for LiuGong construction equipment in the United Kingdom.
The order will see the delivery of 20 LiuGong machines, which will be supplied by Construction Plant & Machinery Sales (CPMS), over the coming months. This large order also includes the supply of the UK’s first Dressta dozer, a TD15M Extra model.
