With the latest 400 Series 3 range Case says it is offering a competitive line-up comprising five radial lift skid steers, three vertical lift models and four compact tracked loaders. Lifting capacities range from 680-1,750kg with power outputs from 44.7-67kW. Driveline technology continues to develop rapidly, with many manufacturers at this year’s Conexpo exhibition showing Tier 4 Final emissions solutions, along with a host of fuel saving transmissions and hydraulic systems, all aiming to reduce operating costs for the customer. However, while there was certainly a hybrid presence at the show, things haven’t perhaps moved forward as fast as many had expected.
FRD (Furukawa Rock Drill) is offering for the first time five new hydraulic breakers of its Fx α-Serie, with operating weights of 69–275kg. Designed for excavators of 0.5– 7tonnes, the breakers are fitted with an adjustable pressure/flow adjuster, meaning that optimal performance in connection with the excavator is ensured.
As for all FRD products, the Fx α-Serie comes with interchangeable parts such as rod liner and front cover.
