A number of visitors to South Africa’s famous Kruger National Park had a rather close-up view of a lion attacking an antelope recently. The drivers were sitting in their cars when a lion sprang at an antelope, tearing at its throat and killing the unfortunate animal almost instantly.     In South Africa a baboon has paid the ultimate price for its thieving habits. The animal was caught by trappers and given a lethal injection. The animal's crime, or repeated crime, was to open the doors of cars at the game park where it lived, and steal items from unwary tourists.     A woman driver in Russia discovered to her cost just how bad-tempered camels can be. The woman was driving her Toyota from the Astrakhan region to Penza at night when a group of camels crossed the road in front of her, blocking the way. She beeped her horn at the animals in a bid to encourage them to move out of the way, succeeding instead in infuriating the notoriously grumpy camels.
