The PR 736 dozer being introduced to the U.S market at Conexpo 2014 is the first model in 718 Liebherr’s new Generation 6 series and is said to offer customers increased efficiency and lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Among the innovations on the Generation 6 machine models, including the 20-25tonne service weight PR 736, are electronic travel speed regulation with an integral eco-function, and pro-active power control.

To simplify the use of automatic machine control systems, Liebherr can supply its Generation 6 crawler tractors and loaders with factory preparation kits for leading manufacturers’ control systems.

The modern design of the new Generation 6 crawler tractors is said to provide the driver with a good all-round view of the terrain and the machine’s working attachments. The operator cab has a new design with ergonomically located Controls. Furthermore, the cab Seat can be optimally positioned to suit the operator’s preferences.%$Linker: 2 Asset <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?><dictionary /> 2 12731 0 oLinkExternal www.Liebherr.com Liebherr website false /EasySiteWeb/GatewayLink.aspx?alId=12731 false false%>

  • ZF chooses radial motor technology for its hydrostatic transmission
    January 6, 2017
ZF has chosen a pair of radial hydraulic motors for use in its compact single-speed hydrostatic transmission, the 2HC85, which has been developed for compact wheeled loaders up to 100kW and 10.5tonnes operating weight. For high-torque start-up, the transmission sends oil to both motors and demands maximum stroke to travel from 0-16kph, before isolating one motor and then using 100% oil flow through the remaining motor to propel the machine to its maximum travel speed of 42kph. ZF said radial motors afford a
