Liebherr unveils THS 110 D-K crawler concrete pump

Introducing its new THS 110 D-K crawler concrete pump, Liebherr says the model offers a maximum delivery rate of 102m³/hour and features a six-cylinder engine. The concrete pump, which is fitted onto a crawler running gear, is moved and controlled via a radio remote control. The three models in the series of Liebherr crawler concrete pumps are the THS 80 D-K, the THS 110 D-K and the THS 140 D-K, with maximum delivery rates ranging from 65m³/hour to 135m³/hour. Introducing its new THS 110 D-K crawler concrete pump, 718 Liebherr says the model offers a maximum delivery rate of 102m³/hour and features a six-cylinder engine.

Liebherr says the during the design phase it was ensured that wear parts for the THS 110 D-K pump could be quickly and easily replaced.

The pump‘s extensive standard scope of delivery includes, for example, a 500litre water tank with water pump and a lockable toolbox, and the unit is said to be well-suited to site work that involves frequent relocation around the construction site.

A typical application for crawler concrete pumps is providing drilling rigs with concrete to fill bored piling foundations.

Leading Australian crane rental firm Universal Cranes has built two bridges using Manitowoc cranes from its fleet. The company used Manitowoc’s largest all-terrain crane, a GMK7450, for the first job and selected two Manitowoc crawler cranes – a 16000 and a 12000 - for the second. Key to the speed of the two projects was the cranes’ quick set-up and precise load control, as well as Universal Cranes’s specially-designed lattice spreader, as Nick Morris, engineering and sales manager at Universal Cranes, e
