Kubota unveils new V5009 range to comply with emission standards

Kubota is unveiling its new 09 large displacement series which includes the 5litre V5009 model at. It has been developed to comply with more stringent emissions standards in the United States, the EU and Japan with the intention of positioning its engine brand as the primary power source under 75kW throughout Europe. 1265 Kubota is unveiling its new 09 large displacement series which includes the 5litre V5009 model at. It has been developed to comply with more stringent emissions standards in the United States, the EU and Japan with the intention of positioning its engine brand as the primary power source under 75kW throughout Europe.

In addition, Kubota has decided to expand the line-up to the 150kW class.

Under the new standards all industrial machinery manufacturers are now required to build their machines with emission certified engines, or to adopt after treatment devices in regard to the required emission level.

Daniel Grant, marketing manager for Kubota BU Engine Europe, said: “We are excited about the introduction of the V5009 range to Europe. It is designed in every way to be the answer to our customers’ needs in the 150kW category, from excellent fuel efficiency to ease of maintenance.”

The range will be available from 2020.
