2200 Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe’s (KCME) all-new Japanese-built Generation 10 series specialist excavators have arrived in Europe and will be on show at INTERMAT.

Generation 10, the latest range of earthmoving and construction excavators, is available from the “growing European Kobelco dealer network,” and replaces the successful Generation 9. It is the first Kobelco model to comply with Stage 4 of the exhaust emissions regulations.

For Generation 10 (20-35tonnes), Kobelco says it has gone further to reduce operational costs with even greater fuel saving through regenerative technology, while pointing out that, for example, the Generation 10 SK210LC-10 excavator with Stage 4 engine configuration delivers greater performance and efficiency in its working environment when compared to the previous Generation 9 equivalent.

Also further improved on the new equipment are serviceability, high durability working performance and the safety cabs, which have been revised to include control levers with a lighter-feel, a new lock lever and control lever box.

Generation 10 machines SK210LC-10 will launch in the summer of 2015.

“The addition of specific model roles within key industries fulfils the needs of our growing customer base,” says Peter Stuijt, KCME product marketing manager, commenting on the introduction of Generation 10 machines.
