Kleemann is introducing its latest crushing technology to North America

261 Kleemann is now introducing its latest crushing technology to the North American market at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017. The Mobicone MCO 11i is new to the US market and features the firm’s latest control technology for efficient operations. The Mobicone Pro is a redesign of the previous generation machine and now benefits from a new feeder design.

The 368kW Scania engine is more powerful than the previous generation unit and has been set lower in the chassis, which helps lower the centre of gravity and makes the machine easier to transport. The electronics and hydraulics are separated from the engine and an important feature is that the machine can also run on electric power if a site has supply available, which helps to further reduce running costs. The machine can deliver a throughput of up to 500tonnes/hour in suitable conditions, with the feed rate optimised due to the sophisticated control system for the feeder. It also benefits from a specially manufactured liner system.

Meanwhile the Mobicat Evo MC110 is very popular in the US, according to the firm. Both machines feature diesel electric drives that are claimed to be more efficient than earlier generation diesel hydraulic drives, delivering a considerable saving on fuel. Power comes from Scania diesels that are Tier 4 Final compliant and are said to offer a good solution that suits the Kleemann installation.
