JLG’s very compact crawler boom

JLG has added another compact crawler boom to its range, the X15J Plus. “It is the most compact machine within its height category on the market,” said Jan-Willem van Wier, product marketing manager Aerial Platforms for JLG. When folded down the X15J Plus is 3.4m long, 748mm wide and 2m high. 2199 JLG has added another compact crawler boom to its range, the X15J Plus. “It is the most compact machine within its height category on the market,” said Jan-Willem van Wier, product marketing manager Aerial Platforms for JLG.

When folded down the X15J Plus is 3.4m long, 748mm wide and 2m high. Once extended, the boom’s tracks extend to 1.1m. “When working in a highway environment, this is the smallest stabilisation area in its height category: 2.8m by 2.8m,” said van Wier.

Running on lithium, diesel or petrol, the X15K Plus can operate emissions-free. The ‘Plus’ element means that the boom has a capacity of up to 230kg, to allow more tools and materials to be transported.
