Jewson Tool Hire has purchased 40 new JCB VMT160-80 tandem vibratory rollers - joining 80 existing models to create what is claimed to be the largest fleet of JCB Vibromax compaction equipment worldwide. Powered by a 17kW three-cylinder water-cooled engine, the VMT160-80 tandem vibratory rollers feature a 45litre diesel tank, said to be almost twice the size of competitive models, enabling the machines to work continuously for longer. Tool and plant hire customers are said by JTH to be getting a whole day’s extra usage out of the new machine ranges compared to other makes.
