The 7983 Irium Group, an ERP (European Enterprise Resource Planning) software publisher dedicated to equipment dealers, distributors, rental and repair companies of construction equipment, has useful new software innovations.

The first, iWEB, is a new software suite linked to the company’s ERP platform which will allow construction equipment dealers to manage their sales process online in a fast, efficient and integrated way. There are modules for scheduling and monitoring the servicing process, linking operators directly to dealer’s commercial website, shopping for online sales to occasional customers, ordering parts for online sales to account customers, managing advertisements for used machines on the dealer commercial website and organising warranty documents. Irium believes that iWEB will enable dealers to “improve their customer satisfaction and loyalty, increase their after-sales productivity and improve their brand image.”

Another new package worth checking out is focused on business reporting. According to Irium, “the (global financial) crisis has made it essential for dealers to be able to have more visibility and to analyse their results or costs to improve their performance.” The La Rochelle-based developer has created dashboards that “combine the simplicity and the calculation strength of Excel with the power of Irium’s ERPs.” The iMOB Service package is a “solution that can be installed on all mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) Android and iOS. It optimises the work of technicians in the field and facilitates exchanges between the field and the company.”

And, “thanks to the geolocation tool, dealers will be able to find the nearest technician available who can be easily guided to the right place. All the information entered into the mobile device, by the technician is also updated in real time into the ERP … including spare parts, time spent, comments, photos, customer signing, and so on.”
