International’s Bill Kozek: ‘We’re not there yet but we are getting there’

“We are not there but we are getting there,” he admitted.

Around half are repeated in the target time, he went on. “We need to make the necessary investment in training and parts inventory – all of these items need to be working together.”

But he insisted that the manufacturer’s alliance with Volkswagen Truck & Bus, signed last autumn, will bear fruit. “We’ve hit the ground running on this alliance,” Kozek insisted, with functions such as purchasing, operations, IT and manufacturing from both organisations co-operating.

“We’ve got teams in place to help the companies come together,” he said, adding that they would be “making the necessary investments to improve our products”.
