1315 Intercomp’s new tension link scales now feature the company’s fully integrated wireless weighing technology.

The scales are load monitoring devices used for controlling overhead loads and line tension applications while remaining a cost-effective solution. RFX wireless weighing technology uses no external antennas and ensures dependable, accurate and safer weighing.

The TL8500 tension link scale features a large, backlit LCD graphic display on the scale, with the option to purchase the RFX wireless TL-RFX indicator. The scale’s easy-to-use membrane switches allow simple, trouble-free operation. Features include set point, peak and low battery indication as well as mode and on/off hard keys.

Capacities range from 250kg to 250,000kg with industry standard accuracy. TL Series scales operate on easily accessible, standard alkaline, 9V batteries lasting up to 300 hours of continuous use and up to 2,000 hours in standby mode. All electronics are shock-mounted in a NEMA 4x/IP65 weatherproof aluminum or stainless steel housing depending on capacity, protecting against moisture, dust and rough usage.

The convenient, compact, TL-RFX indicator Controls the unit and boasts a large, easy-to-read, backlit display. The indicator fully operates scale functions and offers three different screen views including single weight, accumulated weight and the ability to read four scales at once. The indicator also communicates with a line of sight of 90m and is powered by standard alkaline AA batteries, which will operate up to 40 hours of continuous use.

For applications where viewing a display at the link is not feasible or protection from extreme elements is a must, the TL8000 is a cost-effective alternative. It contains all the same functionality of the TL8500, less the LCD graphic display and is packaged with the TL-RFX indicator.
