Comer’s new transmissions are highly efficient
7292 Comer Industries is developing its integrated power transmissions solutions to boost productivity and efficiency for OEMs. The company is adding the S-46 Hydro axle to its line-up for compact wheeled loaders. The axle now benefits from a hydrostatic radial motor mounted in line with the input shaft, permitting four-wheel drive connection with reduced installation space.

Comer is also launching a complete driveline system for soil compactors, the first one being installed on a machine from 162 Atlas Weyhausen. The driveline consists of an F-128 axle with PG-161 planetary drive for the rear axle and a wheel drive unit for the compaction drum.

Also new to the line-up is a PGR-3600 rotating housing drive. Available for both wheeled and tracked machines, the PGR-3600 series offers higher torque outputs and load capacities than previous models, with Comer claiming increased reliability.

Comer has introduced a complete power transmission solution with a compact design to suit the soil compactor sector. The system comprises the F-128 axle plus the PG-161 planetary drive for the rear axle drive line and the PGR-3603 T planetary drum drive for the front drum. The rear axle drive line has a high transmission reduction ratio to nearly 140:1 and a compact design which allows for the pump and hydraulic motor to be smaller than usual. The axle is equipped with a pre-loaded limited slip different

Comer has introduced the F-046 Hydro axle for compact wheeled vehicles such as front-end loaders. The new product is a version of the company's 046 axle modified to host a hydrostatic radial motor in line with the input shaft and allow for four-wheel drive connection. The design provides better machine performance compared with traditional products and improved driveline layout by reducing installation room needed under the vehicle, claims
