Hyundai reveals its latest low emission wheeled loader

196 Cummins QSB6.7 diesel that delivers 116kW and meets Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB emissions requirements. The diesel has advanced electronic Controls and a self-diagnostic system, as well as a high pressure common rail system and advanced in-cylinder combustion technology. This offers increased power, improved transient response and reduced fuel consumption. The engine drives through a fully automatic transmission that the firm says is designed for maximum durability, minimum power loss, improved travel speed and low noise. It also has an improved clutch control and minimised shifting shock when operating. The HL740-9A model allows an operator to optimise power output, transmission, shift time and clutch cut-off activation to the job. Three engine power modes are available; power, standard and economy, as well as four transmission power shift modes; manual, light, normal and heavy.
Hyundai’s HL740-9A wheeled loader weighs in at 12.7tonnes, has a 2.35m3 bucket capacity as standard and is available in an extended reach (XTD) model, which tips the scales at 13tonnes. The loader is also available in a 13.3tonne tool carrier (TM) model with parallel lift.
Other improvements include better operator comfort and a larger, redesigned cab, as well as an LCD monitor that also operates as a rear-view backup camera for better safety onsite. High performance and productivity are claimed for the new generation DL200-3 and DL250-3 wheel loaders from Doosan Infracore. Powerful engines and a number of new features help reduce fuel consumption while these machines are also said to be easier to service and offer extended durability. The new cab design provides better visibility and more leg room, while it has a new instrument panel with an integrated VCU (vehicle control unit).
The first Hyundai HX130LCR crawler excavator to arrive into Europe will be exhibited this April at ScotPlant 2018 in Edinburgh.
Hyundai dealer Young Plant, based in Doune, Scotland, will have the compact-radius excavator HX130LCR on show for the duration of the event, from April 20-21.
Also, on display at the Young Plant stand will be the 22tonne Hyundai HX220 L crawler excavator and the Hyundai HL960 HD wheeled loader, which has an operating weight of 19 tonnes.
