More power and torque for Hydrema truck
2415 Hydrema has revised its 912 range of articulated dump trucks, with a move from 299 Perkins power to a 196 Cummins Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB motor. The QSB4.5L engine delivers 105kW of power, up 8% on the previous model, but more importantly has 20% more torque, at 620Nm. Despite the increased output, Hydrema claims similar fuel consumption to the previous ADT line-up.

The engine sits beneath a redesigned canopy that lifts clear of the chassis to provide easy access to the engine and driveline. The trucks also feature a redesigned air conditioning system, with the condenser moved to the front of the cab for improved airflow.

The 912 has increased ground clearance yet boasts a lower overall height, making it easy to manoeuvre on-site. In addition to the standard dump body, Hydrema is also now offering a flatbed body, suitable for service trucks and other site duties.

With telesupport, MOBA also offers fast service through an Internet connection. By recording the machine orientation using two GNSS antennae, the torsion on the machine can be determined with very high accuracy and included in the calculation
