Hydrema updates 912HM dump truck

Hydrema has revised its 912 range of articulated dump trucks, with a move from Perkins power to a Cummins Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB motor. The QSB4.5L engine delivers 105kW of power, up 8% on the previous model, but more importantly has 20% more torque, at 620Nm. Despite the increased output, Hydrema claims similar fuel consumption to the previous ADT line-up. More power and torque for Hydrema truck
2415 Hydrema has revised its 912 range of articulated dump trucks, with a move from 299 Perkins power to a 196 Cummins Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB motor. The QSB4.5L engine delivers 105kW of power, up 8% on the previous model, but more importantly has 20% more torque, at 620Nm. Despite the increased output, Hydrema claims similar fuel consumption to the previous ADT line-up.

The engine sits beneath a redesigned canopy that lifts clear of the chassis to provide easy access to the engine and driveline. The trucks also feature a redesigned air conditioning system, with the condenser moved to the front of the cab for improved airflow.

The 912 has increased ground clearance yet boasts a lower overall height, making it easy to manoeuvre on-site. In addition to the standard dump body, Hydrema is also now offering a flatbed body, suitable for service trucks and other site duties.
