Honda goes general purpose with GXR120

Honda Engines team revealed its general purpose GXR120 engine to a North American audience at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. Developed as a source of power for rammer-type compaction equipment and offered in the range as a second power option to the GX100 engine, the new GXR120 offers a 121cc displacement.

2288 Honda Engines team revealed its general purpose GXR120 engine to a North American audience at CONEXPO-CON/AGG.

Developed as a source of power for rammer-type compaction equipment and offered in the range as a second power option to the GX100 engine, the new GXR120 offers a 121cc displacement. Honda said the engine should suit 110lbs to 175lbs compactors, and it features a cast-iron cylinder sleeve and a high carbon-steel, dual-ball bearing crankshaft.
