712 Haulotte will present its Activ Lighting System to improve user safety while loading and unloading a mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) on a truck as well its new Stop Emission system which is said to optimise energy management.

Activ Lighting System has a fully illuminated lower control panel to help make commands more identifiable and to avoid unexpected movements as well as an illuminated basket and dashboard to improve safe access.

The lights position and direction of the lights have been designed with the intention of preventing glare while operating the machine, while lights on the turret and boom aim to help the driver highlight obstacles in borders. The twilight sensor activates the Haulotte lighting system automatically with a manual option also available while the access, controls and surrounding area are lit with a minimum of ten LED lighting points

Stop Emission System’s MEWP is designed to analyse the machine usage and automatically shut it off after 90 seconds. The controller restarts the engine when the driver is required to carry out a movement.

The system reduces use of the engine and peripheral components such as hydraulic block, hoses and cables by up to 20%. It has also been designed with the intention of producing less pollution and noise.
