8070 Generac introduced three new light towers with durable LED fixtures, as well as generators, pumps and dust suppressors, at CONEXPO-CON/AGG.

The new light towers – ML T6SMD, PL T240 LINK Tower and ML T4060M VD – come equipped with four 240-watt LED lights, each with a five-year warranty. The LED light fixtures are highly durable to withstand extreme weather and environment conditions, says the company. In a video shown on the Generac booth, the company demonstrated an LED fixture undergoing rigorous testing, including submersion in water, crushing and being shot with a rifle – the undamaged lights continued to work after two were penetrated by bullets.

The Generac Dust Fighter range offers a choice of 10 dust control units differing in performance and size of the area covered by the nebulized water (mist) flush.  Applications include demolition, mining, aggregate production or recycling, and odour suppression in waste dumps. The smallest units, DF Mini and DF Mini Duo, are suitable for asbestos removal and can be used for indoor works.

The company also showed some of its portable range of diesel generators, including the MM G451 F4 and XD5000.
