7935 FPT Industrial has introduced the N67 power pack solution for mobile and stationary applications. It uses the company’s Hi-eSCR2 advanced after-treatment package, with all key after-treatment components housed in a single package and installed on top of the engine.

The package includes a DOC, SCR-on-Filter assembly, DEF injection system, all required sensors and manifolds. FPT Industrial said the advanced nature of its SCR-on-Filter system, with its improved catalyst technologies, eliminates the need to include a DPF. There is no requirement for regeneration and the entire after-treatment package is maintenance free.

The N67 power pack offers an output potential of 260kW and 1420Nm of torque, and it boasts 1,200-hour service intervals.

FPT Industrial revealed an all-new range-topping power unit at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. It is called the V20 as a reference to its 20litre capacity, and the new power unit sits above the previous flagship, the inline six-cylinder Cursor 16. V20 packs a punch from its V8 architecture, with up to 680kW of power available from 1600-1800rpm, and 4100Nm of torque at 1500rpm. FPT said the V20 is currently the most compact engine of its category, which it sees as a viable alternative for much larger V12 units that offer

For the 5, 8 and 11 litre engines, particulate filters and SCR systems are used in the emissions control package to meet the stage V requirements. Meanwhile the 13 and 16litre engines feature an SCR system that is integrated with the particulate filter. Passive regeneration is used for the particulate filters, so there is no need to stop a machin
